Andros is the second largest island in the Cyclades, Naxos being the largest one, and admittedly one of the most beautiful. It is less than two hours from the port of Rafina and you can easily get there using one of the several ferry routes available, especially during the summer.

In Andros you can enjoy relaxing holidays and great nightlife (especially in Chora - the capital - and Batsi). For lovers of good food, there are many taverns (like "Oti kalo" in Batsi, "Gregos" in Katakilos and "To Balkoni tou Aigaiou" in Ano Aprovato) and classy restaurants (like "Cabo del Mar, where you can also enjoy a drink with a lovely view of the bay in Chora). We encourage you to try the traditional "fourtalia" (kind of omelet), sausages and of course fresh fish and seafood. A bottle of "Ouzo" is a great match for everything!

In Andros you can find some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece, such as "Tis grias to pidima", the beach of Agios Petros, Zorkos, Vitali and Chalkolimionas. All of them are spotless and have crystal-clear waters.

In Chora, the capital of Andros, you can visit museums and exhibitions (painting, sculpture etc), the Vasilis and Eliza Goulandri Foundation and various other attractions. Also worth visiting is the castle of Agios Petros (of the Hellenistic period) and Paleopolis (the old capital of the island).

Villa Helen is located next to the beautiful beach of Agios Petros, 300 meters from the sea. The beach is very well organized and also has a section where you can rent parasols and sunbeds, if you wish to. Villa Helen is a ten minute drive from Gavrio (the port of Andros) and another ten minute drive (to the opposite direction) from the beautiful Batsi.
